TBL: The Bits List

I keep hearing these days about that green dress worn by Keira Knightly’s character, Cecilia Tallis, in the Atonement movie.  I saw the movie with my friend on the opening day about a week ago.  A movie about love, war, heartbreak, lies and consequences, I thought the movie was beautifully made but depressing.  As for the dress?  What a beautiful dress! 

Worn with gold strappy shoes, this 1930s style green dress was minimalistic yet sophisticated and it draped the body beautifully.  Definitely amazing.  Cecilia wore her hair in loose waves pinned to the side with a cluster of diamond stars in which Cecilia’s younger sister, Briony, later found one on the floor.  The main piece of accessory that completed the stunning look was a diamond-encrusted bracelet. 

If you’re like me and don’t have the dough for diamond encrusted hair pins or bracelets, there are many similar styled crystal and silver hairpins and bracelets out there that can just as easily achieve the look.  That’s the beauty of accessories.   Any outfit can be dressed up just by adding key pieces of accessories.  mtidbits might just be the site where you find that piece (or pieces) that will bring sophistication and pizazz to your outfits.  Check it out!  ;-D
